Bubble Risk Calculator for Freedivers
Freediving (BH) involves a risk of decompression sickness (DCS), especially during repetitive dives. DCS is triggered by the formation of bubbles due to inadequate compression and decompression. Bubble Risk Calculator helps freedivers optimize their dive profiles and minimize the risk of DCS.
The app estimates the likelihood of bubble formation during your planned dives using the following parameters:
- Depth: Maximum planned dive depth
- Descent Time: Time taken to descend
- Bottom Time: Time spent at the maximum depth
- Surface Interval: Recovery time between consecutive dives
Manage your dive plans effectively with three powerful modes:
- Free Simulation: Add individual dives, calculate their specific risk levels, and get the cumulative probability of bubble formation.
- Fix Maximum Risk: Set a threshold for the maximum probability of bubble formation and plan a dive sequence to stay within your desired risk level.
- Training Mode: Adjust the total dive time and receive a recommended dive schedule to complete within the selected timeframe.
